With room for 100 people, the Great Room is anchored by a recreated great fireplace, crafted from bricks made by Adams Wakeman 150 years ago.
Just off the Great Room, the Puddleburg Room is an intimate meeting space equipped with a dining room table and chairs. Most importantly, it has the coffee counter, a beautiful piece made of reclaimed porch posts and a lab table from the old Mendon High School.
The kitchen includes everything needed for food prep and service, including two upright freezers, two refrigerators, 4x8 counter island, a three-section sink, and a range.
While the front entrance is closed for continued renovation, the covered front porch provides ample space for mingling guests. The beautiful doors, windows, and masonry are the architectural details most associated with the Wakeman House, providing unique backdrops for pictures and memory-making.
Recently finished, the deck serves as both the main entrance into the event spaces and another location for entertaining. A large concrete patio surrounds the deck, creating an excellent space for a tent or dancing beneath the stars!
Six acres bordered by mature hardwoods and the Little Portage Creek, the grounds of the Wakeman House have many spaces suitable for weddings, parties, and team-building activities.
