The Great Room
With a seating capacity of 100, the Great Room is an ideal venue for class reunions, rehearsal dinners, graduation parties, you name it! The room has two entrances, both handicap accessible, and two restrooms. In cooler weather, the fireplace can be turned on to create the perfect, cozy ambiance for your event. Additionally, the rental of the space includes 70 chairs and 12 round tables.

The Puddleburg Room
Just off the Great Room sits an intimate meeting space equipped with a dining room table and chairs. Named after the original dining room of the Mendon Bed and Breakfast, the Puddleburg Room contains the coffee counter, a beautiful piece made of reclaimed porch posts and a lab table from the old Mendon High School.
Both bathrooms are accessed through the space, along with a large coat rack and storage room.
-
The Kitchen
Beside the Puddleburg Room is a large, industrial kitchen featuring two upright freezers, two refrigerators, a range, a three-section sink, and a 4x8 island for food prep. The kitchen has swinging-door access to the Great Room and the back patio.
-
The Deck
Serving as the main entrance into the Wakeman House, the deck and surrounding cement patio are perfect areas in warmer weather for outdoor events.
-
The Grounds
The six acres behind The Wakeman House are available for use, including a pedestrian bridge leading to an island formed by the Little Portage Creek. The island has recently been cleared of invasive plant species and nonnative trees, leaving ample room for picnics and access to the burbling creek. A gently sloping hill, bordered by apple trees, leads to a grassy clearing perfect for large tents.
